The Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs (ATOD) Prevention Program was established in 1996 to help reduce and prevent use and abuse of alcohol, tobacco, and other substances in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community through education, community mobilization and outreach. The ATOD Program engages in community organizing, development of public information and awareness campaigns, hosts alternative (drug- and smoke-free) events, and provides training for other community-based organizations. The program serves approximately 500 people each month. Click here for a PDF of the Health Education & Prevention Substance Abuse Resource Guide.
