Man2Man was established in 1997 to help gay and bisexual men ages-24-and-above identify risk behaviors and devise ways to reduce risk of exposure to HIV. Through a collaborative effort, Man2Man works with Asian Pacific AIDS Intervention Team (APAIT), Being Alive/Long Beach, Being Alive/Los Angeles, Bienstar Human Services, Common Ground, Minority AIDS Project (MAP), Sunrise Community Counseling Center, Tarzana Treatment Center, and Women Alive to conduct extensive community outreach, risk-reduction workshops and community referrals. Each year, approximately 8,700 people are contacted, more than 750 attend a risk reduction workshop and more than 26,000 educational materials are distributed. Man2Man is funded in part by the County of L.A. Department of Health Services, Office of AIDS Programs and Policy. A listing of Man2Man workshops and events is published each month in At The Village. Regularly scheduled workshops are listed below by scrolling down. To contact the Man2Man Program, call Location The Village at Ed Gould Plaza
