Gifts of Stock To make a contribution of stock, please contact our Director of Membership at Planned Giving The Circle of Life proudly recognizes those men and women who include the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center in their estate plans with a bequest of $10,000 or more. Members are recognized in the annual report and in the Anniversary Ball dinner journal, honored in an annual reception, receive the Circle of Life newsletter and are invited to special seminars and programs on topics of interest. The Duke Comegys Leadership Endowment Fund recognizes the outstanding leadership and generous bequest of $3,250,000 from the late Duke Comegys. By policy of the Gay & Lesbian Center's board of directors, unrestricted bequests and trust distributions are placed in the Duke Comegys Leadership Endowment Fund. Earnings, after allowing for growth of principal of the fund, are dedicated to unrestricted support for programs. You may choose to direct your bequest to the Comegys Fund, or to restrict your bequest to the support of any program provided by the Gay & Lesbian Center. Named Endowment Funds recognize irrevocable commitments of $100,000 or more. We would be delighted to talk with you about naming a fund in your honor. Special programs are offered for young people, seniors, and women. Programs and services are available to any individual, regardless of ability to pay. Foundation support of the Gay & Lesbian Center's programs and services has grown 400 percent during the past four years.
