LOS ANGELES, Dec. 29, 2004—The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Learning Curve program proudly presents CONVERSATIONS WITH COCO, hosted by drag royaity's Miss Coco Peru. This special event, benefiting the Center, is the first in a new series of programs spotlighting the careers of today's most popular and successful celebrities who are also icons and/or friends of the GLBT community. Headlining the first event is the multi-award winning actress and singer, Bea Arthur.

Miss Coco Peru will take Bea on an unscripted, spontaneous drag down memory lane during this intimate evening that promises to include highlights from Bea's career and never-before-heard stories of her life and experiences. This unique event will definitely be a night to remember.

Miss Arthur's career spans more than 40 years and incldes starring roles on TV, film and Broadway. Her multitude of credits include the hit TV show Maude, the feature film Mame, every gay man's favorite TV show The Golden Girls and most recently, her Broadway show Bea Arthur on Broadway: Just Between Friends.
